Her mother\u2019s side endured the unimaginable\u2014the horrors of the Armenian Genocide, followed by exile to Siberia during Stalin\u2019s reign. This unbreakable legacy of endurance deeply shaped A. Gharakhanian\u2019s understanding of trauma and its enduring impact across generations. This personal history fueled her dedication to mental health, particularly in the field of intergenerational trauma and early intervention for individuals with special needs. Her work is a unique blend of professional expertise and intimate connection to the resilience of the human spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yet A. Gharakhanian&#8217;s vision reached beyond the individual.
